http://www.beingpeterkim.com/peterkim.html
Senior Partner at Dachis Corporation in Boston, Peter Kim has - since January 2006 - shared his business thinking on his blog, beingpeterkim.com, now one of the most highly regarded marketing blogs in the world. On Twitter (peterkim), his current followers number more than 10,330. With his social business design services in big demand and his keynote speeches among the world’s most popular, Peter Kim works with clients ranging from consumer package goods to high technology services, from healthcare and travel to media and utilities.
Considered an expert in the fine art of blogging, Peter Kim says, “I still don’t think blogs are media outlets. Media as historically defined are poorly targeted one-way communication in transport vehicles being replaced by emerging technologies. I see blogs as conversations, two-way dialogue between individuals that were made for technology’s current evolution. Who wants to be a voice that people skip, block, and ignore?â€
Formerly an analyst at Forrester Research in Boston, where he focused on the intersection of social technology and marketing strategy, Kim won internal awards while publishing 36 research documents. Before that, he ran international marketing operations at PUMA AG. Previously, he was part of a strategy network at Razorfish and a research analyst at Coopers & Lybrand focusing on the energy industry.
Kim earned an English degree from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the Darden School at the University of Virginia.
